Man, that is one beautiful looking 993!! The shiny black paint, lowered stance, and wheels are so luscious. Congrats and welcome.

Nice car! It just looks so clean and pure. I like the wood dash! I like the steering wheel, too, but find it is not the best match for the elegance of the dash.

Welcome to RL!

TBH, i didnt even know the car had the euro bumper, i'll have to search around for differences between that and the US one.

Timothymoffat: When the car was on the lift during the PPI, I did not notice spacers and they were not mentioned by the shop, but I did not specifically look. I know 128k miles is a lot and the motor will need to come out in the near future to have a few things fixed, but that was built into the price.
The only difference between the Euro and US bumper cover is the small black bumperettes of the US bumper and the longer lenses of the matching parking light lens. They are essentially worthless, the Euro bumper is so much cleaner. Your car is beautiful, welcome to the insanity!

It has a lot of great information and helped lead me to Rennline via your instrument rings post. Also I performed the spoiler mod to make it only react to the toggle instead of the speed. Thanks for all your hard work.

The mod was so short I only had time to finish one beer.
Thanks Parker!! Nice to hear you got a kick out of my little side project!! I really wish I had more time to devote to the site! Life is so busy lately, I find myself driving the 993 more than writing about it! LOL!

Keep it spoiler-less my friend!

Ill keep this in mind. I really like the LMs, just not on the 993. Im partial to the 5 spoke, and ive looked at either the 5 spokes you have or the 5 spoke speedlines (or RUF, not sure) with the flat wide spoke. Also trying to think of different powdercoat color options if I keep the LM's.

Welcome to RL!
The PO had the stock parts that had been switched out, including the steering wheel. I want to switch it out either back to stock or another OEM porsche wheel, im not a huge fan of the Momo wheel, plus the horn doesnt work. It seems in the week I've had the car, everybody has tried to crash into me, so I need the horn ASAP.

Also I am a huge fan of the dash, I didnt see it on any other 993's while I was looking. Thanks for the kind words.

lol, black is the new black. Cheers to you sir, very nice ride. Simple. Black. Narrow. And yes, that euro front bumper is great. Mine has bout had it, wondering if I can have it painted, re-hung and use euro signals deleting the bumperettes or if it requires a new bumper??

Beautiful car! Proof that even with all of the miles, a car doesn't have to look the worse for wear if taken care of. Welcome to RL!
