I plan to go for my first time. Any advice/info on parking? I didn't pre-order tickets and plan on general admission (it won't sell out will it?) for Saturday only most likely. Hopefully, I can give the Turby a quick whip down with a waterless wash and not look too scruffy :-(

Was just bouncing around our local list with who's going (or not). One of the guys mentions his Countach, though I'm sure he'll be going with the McLaren or Scuderia. Had to mention the Lambo Club picnic my friends in Phoenix were attending with other friends who did own a Countach. Couldn't make it, but they said about 10 Lambos were there. At Quail Lodge. So that was the beginnings of Concours Italiano, circa 1988-9. Monterey week used to be low key and fun. Now, I'll just work at the shop.

Question

My only interest is what is going on and and around the track on Saturday

And if I'm going to be able to find a safe spot for my car to park nearby I'm assuming VIP parking is sold out.

just go, try to buy general admin ticket, and park in the dirt lot with 90% of the people.
you'll have a great time at the track.
not sure you can but one day pass though.

Yep, $100 for Saturday at the gate. (I seem to remember it being free on Fridays in the Olden Days; and there being more participants/crew than spectators.)
