who needs a crystal ball when you have the fed and every other central bank on the planet racing to see who can print fiat faster? ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
all awesome, scarce things like the 993 will continue to "appreciate" relative to fiat currencies.

The greatest con of all, asset appreciation. My home, car etc is worth 2x-5x more than I paid for it. Not really, your dollar is just worth less so it takes more of em to buy XXX.
I do hope the P car market corrects sharply enough to lure back the true enthusiasts. I remember the good old days being on track with 10-20 993 turbos. Nobody was tripping out about values, they were 1/2 of what they cost new so we just had fun.
Ramblings of an OG looking fondly backwards, grateful for my experiences.
It’s amazing I still have my 993 today. It’s about as perfect as I could imagine a 993 to be. I am one lucky SOB, who gives an F what it’s worth.

Hi:
I sold mine to a friend a year ago. He gets to have it now. And he gets to care for it. It is much more fun to see him enjoy it and fix it than it was for me before I sold it.
I loved the 993. Fortunately for him, I drove the **** out of it and put lots of patina and scars on it so he can just enjoy the thing rather than worry about appreciation in value.
That is the freedom that should be inherent in owning a cool car: focus on driving it now and not saving it for later. We will all be off the planet soon enough and how shiney and perfect the paint is on your car matters not at all.
