PPI DONE ! Rennfax ? Sloan to ship?
Well i just got the results back on what I'm hoping is "the one", and am thinking about using sloan to broker the deal and ship since the owner's rennster and not really advertised....just think it may give me peace of mind for a few hundred bucks.Done a few searches but haven't really found much on him. Also curious as to any who know the car.Midnight blue and cashmere C4S.....Owned by Peter?

I'm not sure why Sloan would need to be involved. You can have a proper PPI done and then either drive the car home or arrange for your own shipping.
Either way, congrats on finding your 993.

Work and kids.... No time to fly up and drive it back. Sloan seems to get a good deal on shipping and also maybe little peace of mind . Just curious if anyone knew or recognized the car, but having hard time trying to attach pic

sometimes middlemen can help get better prices and/or responses than individuals.
i've had many cars shipped and they have usually been TERRIBLE - both how long they take as well as where they are and when they will show up. the worst is just not knowing(or being lied to by dispatcher) about status. this, in addition, to the care being dirty and perhaps not as well cared for during transit.
bottom line, if you know a good guy you trust, it's probably worth paying up a little to avoid the hassle(s).

you're just lettin the fox into the henhouse .
if you got a good deal on the car, a high margin dealer
might talk the seller into a higher price, and you get skunked.
if ppi is good, take his drivers license via scan or fax prior to any payment.
and as noted above , good shippers available.
intercity , demoise, passport to name a few.

Sloan is RETAIL +++ for anything they touch or even glance at.
I have no idea as to where or how you developed your opinion of Sloan.

Yeah it's in ct, price is already agreed between me and the seller. He just knows Richard pretty well and gave me a good price on shipping quote, I'd gladly pay for fuel and meals though
