Default My motto: "Making the world a more beautiful place, one 993 Speedster at a time" :)

It's about time ...I woulda burst if we had to keep that secret 1 more month.
Even my mom's a fan: today she said she wanted to read about your car, & asked for a copy.
Congratulations, Jon Paul!
Exquisite accomplishment, sir

Thanks guy's! It's quite an honor and a privilege, but the BIG shoutout goes to RL'rs Ilko and Stout for extending the invitation and Randy Wells for doing such a great job in the execution.

I don't have my copy yet ... ... but I've seen a few digital sneak peeks and I can't wait to see the new large format layout. Pete and co. are doing a fantastic job stewarding Panorama into the future ..

Yikes.....the license plate frame says Beverly Hills Porsche. That dealership had a great reputation way back when, but went into the toilet after the current owners decided to screw their customers and misrepresent cars and have them fraudulently CPO'd.

I would take that plate frame off asap.

^^^ The plate frame is there, courtesty of our own Chuck W. BTW, because the car is one of the 'Beverly Hills 5' Porsche Exclusive '98 widebody cabs ... it's a tribute to the car's unique history.

EDIT: D'oh, looks like the Pope addressed the BH frame while I was clicking 'Submit Reply'

Mark-- Speaking of JP's shout-out to RLer Ilko, I also have him to thank for making it possible to meet you & so many cool enthusiasts in the north-east for a NY/NJ/CT spring drive last year. What a perfect day; a great memory!

I memory serves, I'm 99.3% positive the license plate frame's not only a nod to the car's notable history, but also a tale of another good "spirit of Rennlist" story:

A RLer went out of his way to get that for Jon Paul. It's one of the many small details & stories that makes JPP's 993 exquisite.

More info regarding the Beverly Hills provenance is in the Excellence Magazine feature published on this car #192 June 2011:

Thanks JoAnne, I know you mean it and it means a lot to me. I've been told that Pano delivery times are a function of the bulk post distribution system and the Left Coast usually gets delivery the third week so not so bad .... Patience is a virgin as Colin likes to point out
