FS: NEW kit, Momo Mod 07 (Cup), 7004 hub, horn contact ring, resistors, etc. for 993
X-post from FS forum, but since these parts are 993-specific I thought I'd post here also. I'll be out of town some of the weekend, so if I miss your PM, don't panic! First PM gets first dibs.
All parts are brand new - full kit to install in a 993 or 964, have your horn work, and not have the airbag light. It is not as straightforward as plug-and-play to install a Momo wheel in a 993, so this kit helps simplify the process for you. The horn contact ring and molex connector were installed, then removed. See DIY HERE for full details. My car is still under construction and I found an airbag wheel for sale I could not pass up, so I'm selling this to recoup some of the cost.
Wheel has been subtly customized to give it less of an off-the-shelf MOMO look. The yellow MOMO paint in the logo has been removed very carefully without damaging the anodizing (machining remains, of course). The yellow stripe was carefully prepped and dyed Can Can Red. Work was performed professionally and with great care; you can trust my work and that it will hold up, and appears as if it could have come from the factory like this. No bleeding of the dye onto the alcantara. I am a perfectionist with this type of work and quite a bit of upholstery experience.
Save money and time from having to cobble a kit together from multiple locations + shipping.
Includes:
- New Alcantara Momo Mod 07 (same as Porsche Cup wheel, without Porsche logo)
- NIB Momo 7004 hub/parts/instructions for 993/964 (and others, but the following parts are for 993/964)
- Horn contact ring 964.652.104.00 (allows horn connection after you remove airbag clock spring)
- Female Molex connector 999.652.639.22 to connect horn contact to old wire (see DIY)
- 2.7 Ohm 1/4 watt resistor to fool airbag module (and a spare)
Price: $330 + 15 shipping to anywhere in US. Paypal preferred.
Last photo is what the wheel looks like out of the box, for reference of what has changed. Sorry about the dog fur in the photos!

Sorry guys, this has sold and I forgot to update the thread. Maybe it has been so long since I posted that I can't edit, or maybe I'm missing the edit button!
I actually didn't remove the yellow dye, I just used red surflex to "dye" on top of it.
