Now she sits quietly, looking for an a.m. run in the mornings One thing though, the rear GT2 cover/grille is rather open (hence the missing intercooler over the engine), should I worry about sudden weather changes, like heavy rain etc?

I clearly remember over 10 years ago when I first saw an Iris Blue car. It was on a freshly painted 1984 928, and it was simply breathtaking to behold in the sunlight.
As good as your 993 looks in the pictures, and it's a beauty, I know that Iris Blue looks ten-times better in person.
