Default Re-wire on board computer light.

My 95 C4 has a small issue with its OBC illumination, it flickers when my driving light are turned on. The flicker is especially pronounced in warmer weather. Have tried to swap the transistor as per Bergvills guide, but no change.
Have read about people wiring the OBC bulb to one of the gauge lights, but this will render it dark when the lights are off.
Could I wire the bulb directly to the ignition switch?
If so, does anyone have any tips regarding this? Or even a wiring schematic for the ignition switch?
Appreciate any help.

The flickering seems to be related to the instrument light dimmer setting. My OBC is also flickering, ever so slightly, when I dim the instrument lights. On max setting there's no flickering at all.
I have not been able to dig deep into this yet, but believe this could be related to some capacitors that often seem to be leaking (and probably have failed) in the tachometer.
Cheers,
Tore
