This is going to cost you possibly premium $ but I would get a 993TT in a special color! Combo of option 2 & 4.

What do you do with the car? Daily driver, AX/DE, make more mods, make more friken cool videos Have you ever done Autocross or DE events with the car? That will keep your interested in an all new way...
This and this. More modern cars are........more modern. And faster. Which you can use where in North America, exactly. Reinforced by my just having spent 40 minutes (25 at dwaddling speed, with 15 further in first gear, on a third world freeway) coming home. Not much else out there at the price + simplicity to keep going points that pull me in a different direction.

Oddly, as I was locking up the shop a guy who was visiting a couple of shops up came over to say hi. Rough looking guy in his 60s. Turns out he had a '62 Coupe, and was quite experienced in 356s back in the '70s. Regrets giving it all up, as he knows the price of entry now is stupid money. So, what we search for may not be any better than what we have.

You might just have the itch for something different.
Trust me on this, once you sell your 993 you will want another. Maybe not right away but you will want one and the market is always moving for nice cars. If you want to stay in the 993 family I say go for the 993 turbo. Another option is to buy another, cheaper car like a Subaru BR-Z or Subaru WRX and this will give you a break from the 993. When you do get in it, from time to time, it will remain special, which it is. I don't drive mine often but when I do it always brings a smile to my face.

Thanks for the posts and wise words guys! I'm happy with the poll results;
exactly what I've been telling myself: You need a 993 Turbo!

First and foremost, I wish my car had a bit more power. Making a move into
a 993 Turbo seems to be the most ideal scenario. The car would be mostly a
weekend cruiser with a couple long distance road trips a year, and maybe
a few jaunts to the office on a random Friday. I do not DE, nor do I autoX
and don't think I would ever get into that hobby. I'm more into early
morning twisty roads, windows down, radio off, and elbow out kind of cruising.
An escape out of the city.

I also really want to take my time with finding the right car this time around.
Not to say I didn't with the C4S, but I think this time I'll be a little bit less
emotional in the whole process ~ "ZOMG I'm buying my first 911"... I also
want to hold out for the right colour combo, the right options and the right
condition all within budget.

So that's that.. I know I have to think this over some more, but in the
meantime, I'll start gauging the local market.

Thanks again!

You have to stay in a 993, thats not even up for discussion.

As much as I love the 993 TT, they say nothing gets boring quicker then HP. I dont think another 120 HP is going to scratch your itch for a new car since your just using it for crusing. My suggestion is a riviera blue or pastel yellow 993 in any trim (minus cabs and targas). I know Riviera blue cars are rare, would you consider painting your current car? Maybe thats an option.

What ever you choose I'm sure its going to be awesome and looking forward to seeing it.

I am one of the few that voted for the 997tt assuming you are truly bored with the 993 platform. If my assumption is incorrect then I would just say keep the car you own, you will get over the urge to buy another car soon enough.

Sell C4S and get 993tt or 997 GT3.

Or keep C4S and add E30 M3 or G-series 911.
