I like mine. it has been known to rain here in Portland and no problems. works like a normal windshield. the polarized sunglass effect is very minor and I don't notice it unless I really look for it. definitely have taken 2 rock hits that I know would have damaged the windshield. tiny nick in the clearpex and no damage to the glass.

my experience so far - installed about 6 months ago.

I asked this a couple of years ago and I'd like to install this film on my daily driver that sees winter salt and road grit on the windshield with wiper going quite often.

So how will it or does it hold up? Will I be looking through haze in a few months?

Frankly, I have glass coverage and WANT a rock to take my pitted original window out so I can get a new one... is that wrong to say that out loud?? LOL!

The thing is you've probably paid for that window already with all your annual premiums and the deductible.

I'm right there with you. My 993 has a heavily sandblasted window from its So Cal origins. I'm just waiting for the right chance/excuse to have it replaced. Then I'll protect the new windshield with the plastic cover...
