And no one has mentioned valve guides.

market than in the USA.
And this is my 993 on autotrader.ca that's for sale!!!

At 126K miles what has been replaced in the last 30K miles?
The clutch -$2K?
The struts - $2.5K?
The brakes - $1K?
Suspension joints and bushings - $1K?
If it is a manual shift, the 1st & 2nd gear synchros - $4K?
The valve hydraulic cartridges - $1.5K?
The steering rack - 1.5K?
I guess I'm saying with that may miles lots of stuff should have been changed out recently. If not the car is simply not worth that much. Start at $22K to $25K USD and start subtracting.

To pass my local inspection and in order to allow transfer of ownership the car requires:

Rear tires
Windsheild (has small stone chip)
maybe new tail light lens (it is super faded)

How much is a winsheild?

Im still looking at how much money it requires to pass DMV inspection and then how much money it will cost to update the service records before I make an offer.

lots of hypothetical here...what's the owner asking for the car. If it's too big a gap to bridge, then it's off before it's on.

Tail lights are faded badly. Fronts look fine.
Engine has had valve cover gaskets and timing chain cover gaskets replaced during routine service over the years. Car has had the same Indy since warranty expried.

Still has Stock plugs, wires, rotor, cap, SAI check valve and belts. Gona need all that stuff done....

Im a sucker for stock one owner 993 carreras..

Hi, on this thread people told you the value of the car would be in the mid teens. Some said low 30s. Now, considering it was the only car available in your province I'm curious to know how much you paid if it's not indiscreet...

Owner was thinking 30k, and i was thinking 25k.
After reviewing service records and seeing that it is due for plugs, wires, cap, rotor and SAI check valve etc we settled on $26500.00.

Had this car been in a larger province it would have a broader range of buyers but also more competition therefore the price would still be in the mid 20s range at best.

In canada you just cant find 1 owner local cars for under 25k regardless of miles.

In USA this car would be 20k on a good day I figure. Then again, original one owner sometimes brings up the price point...
