distributor cap wire position
After my DIY for replace new distributor cap for my 993 tiptronic. Car idle is smooth, but running in 2 gear not smooth and lack of power but when it come to 3 and 4 gear it become smooth again. When i slow down the car from 3 gear to 2 gear, it again feeling not smooth running, also feel leak of power in 2 gear. even i push gas on 2 gear, it reach slowly to 3 gear.
when i take the reverse gear, it again not stable.
Is it i make mistake on wire position on distributor cap ?
when i take the reverse gear, it again not stable.

If the problem you are facing was related with the distributor I believe you would be having problems in all gears and the engine would not be idling smoothly. Anyhow, I'm posting what you have asked for and that I've retrieved in the Net.

That is a charade that you will have to solve by yourself following Bill's advice about the labels. Why a charade, just because most of the cables are hidden or invisible. Just to help you to know the cylinders location have a look at the following image.

The rest is up to you to find out which cable connects to each cylinder and don't forget that you have two sparks per cylinder. The cables will be marked 'I' for upper cylinders and 'II' for lower cylinders as well as the distributors in the previous image.
But remember, I guess your problem is not related to the wrong connection of the cables.
