Costco Sale on Mobil 1 + Weight recommendation
Looks like Costco will have $10 off a 6qt case June 13 - July 7.
What weight would folk suggest for a desert running car. It's the "high" desert so while it does get into the 110's in the summer, the temp drops at night to 60's. Also, winter can see the 30's.

15w50 would make sense for almost any climate.

That's what my mechanic recommends for my 100K + motor.

I usually cannot find the right viscosity at Costco. Usually have only 10 30 and 5 30.

Mobile 1 is also on sale at Walmart. 5qt. jugs for $22.47
I buy 2 jugs for a complete oil change.
I think its less than the Costco price, with multiple viscosities to chose from.

Thanks, I hope Costco stocks the 15-50. They are a retailer I'll gladly support-they are great to do business with.
Walmart....not so much.

I agree, but I have no compunction going to Walmart for sale items I use regularly, like Mobile 1.
Costco gets my business for almost EVERYTHING else.

I have never seen 15-50 at the local Costco in Torrance.
