Default Koni FSD discontinued?

I had ordered a set and the vendor indicates that Koni has discontinued the 993 part. Anyone else heard anything?

Looks like Bilstein HD or maybe coilovers for me now . . .

Where did you attempt to order from? Check out Paragon or Tirerack for special pricing on now.....

I just got my Koni's about 2 months ago from Paragon. Love them!

Just received a set from Tire Rack that was ordered about a week ago. I sure hope they were not discontinued or there is something wrong with them. I have'nt even installed them yet!

There was a memo just a few weeke ago for all koni dealers with product updates but to my knowledge it did not mention anything about the 993 FSD's. Will ask Koni headquarters in the Netherlands and post here.

I was watching TR and Paragon, but it seemed like availability was/is spotty, so I searched for an alternate source. Came up with THMotorsports, ordered a set for ~895 drop shipped directly from Koni. Seems like a reputable vendor based upon resellerratings.com (9.68/10.0 with ~1100 reviews). Received an e-mail today from THM saying that Koni won't fulfill and and offer for a substitute of Yellows, which I declined cancelling the order.

FWIW Koni US on-line fitment guide still shows the part.

I have several sets of the FSD in stock @ $900. Please give me a call if interested.

I do not know if I will be able to reorder this part from them.

Thanks Damon I need to think on it. After cancelling the FSD order I subsequently cancelled a separate order for M033 springs with bellows and bumps, so I'm back to square one. Sigh.

I'll be waiting to read your post from Koni headquarters. Seeing how I just bought a set, should I be concerned? My gut tells me to return them or exchange them.

Seems strange considering the reviews were generally pretty positive.

I have koni sports/yellows on my car and they're great. The adjustability is pretty convenient.

The issue with Koni yellow is that they tend to last about 2 years. First, the adjustment starts to go away. Then they leak. Free replacement, granted, but...

Otherwise they are great shocks and I've liked them for dual street/autox duty on every car I've had them or have driven in anger.

I would definitely want to know if these were discontinued before purchasing. If so, I'd like a reason as to why.

The FSD's have NOT been discontinued. Koni Holland has the front struts on hand but the rears are waiting on a new production run. We do not have an ETA at this point but I'll keep pushing to get one. We have multiple sets on order.
