Default Price check on my02s

Hi all,
I have a clean set of MY02 to sell and I can't find any comps.

They are 8" and 10", 996 wheels. No curbing, great paint with a few chips and the wheels are straight and true.

What is a fair price for a clean, no issue set of wheels?

Thanks.
Pete

Never seen a good set less than $1k unless it's a fire sale.

Thanks for the responses thus far. I'm actually a bit surprised. I was not able to find a nice set of these for anything close to $1k. Perhaps the market for these has changed in the last 3-4 years?

I paid closer to $1400 a few years ago but it does seem like the market has softened slightly. still one of the best wheels for our cars!!! GLWS

Default IMHO....

$800 to $1,200...$800 a steal, $1,200 for wheels in great shape, guaranteed by the buyer to be straight in true, regardless of the price paid.

I had mine refinished to new, inside and out, by Wheels America in Anaheim, CA. If there are any bends, they fix them, repair undetectable...all included at $129 a wheel. 714.670.0150 Then I got tired of them and sold them...$1,200 but they looked new....

How does great paint= "a few chips"? It is either one or the other. I always view these threads as people fishing for PM's with offers, by not following the rules of posting FS items with a price.

I'm sure the OP will have some kind of reply. My wheels have great paint, and NO chips-that is my reference point.

I recently paid $1000 for a set like yours. TO get over a grand, they really need to be perfect, imo.

I will be refinishing mine shortly. That's another $600.00

Mine did come with very new sumis on them.

I do think they are one of the best looks on these cars, but then I am a little biased. Here's mine taken this morning in Comfort.

Comfort, TX, that is

Great paint might be optimistic. But I'm not trying to sell them though, just give a flavor for the condition.

I'm trying to decide if I should sell them or just stuff them in the attic for when I sell the car and that depends on the likely price point. (Full disclosure that I did reply to the guy that had the wtb advert though, which set off my post)

I'm really looking for rennlist advice. I have heard regularly that these could be had for $1200 from Martin and others. I tried for over a year to find a set for that price and was unable.

What do these wheels weigh apiece for the 8s and 10s?
