Hi 911 PERVY,
No it is not a wind up, us Aussies are not that crazy, just taking benefit of being there.
You are right. the bolts are not visible, but every other bit on the car is correct, so just the challenge of getting the right bolt, if we are travelling past a dismantler.
Actually Porsche Australia is having it first Rennsport event on the 25th and 26th of May and my 993 is entered into the Concourse. I came second in the Porsche Car Club of NSW concourse last yaer, I was beaten by a car with 228,000 Klms and it was 8 years older, you get more points for more Klms and age.
In raw points I won, but lost by 69 points once the klms and age was taken into account. My car has 40,890klms and it almost perfect and like new. No rattles, knocks squeaks, but hard to keep that way.
Thanks

Hi Neil,
I once had a similar issue with a 1€ part not being supplied anymore by Porsche, after calling and mailing several dismantlers I mailed again to 3 of them (who actually responded the first time) a second time and offered them to sell me the part for 20€ without the shipping costs.
Maybe this will work for you as well
Best regards,
Marco

Hi 993 Aventuragrun,
Good suggestion.
911 PERVY
The Poms and the Ashes, normally I would be willing to give you some stick about your comment, but on this occasion I think I should leave it alone, it does not look good for the Aussies.
I remember the days when the Aussies had every trophies for all the sports the Poms had taught us.
Not the way any more, I think we are kicking back so you don't feal so defeated. Joke.......
