Thx
I've posted mine and a few from the group also posted theirs. I think the tread was called "Group recovery".

Polish comes back only after copious amounts of Chopin. And I don't mean classical music either.

I can't second this enough. They exceeded my expectations in quality of materials and craftsmanship. The cost was reasonable too.

Search for a thread "another wheel recovered in Poland" or something like that.

I used carsdream as part of Mikes group buy, love it.

I've also had Craft Customs in Texas (http://www.craftcustoms.com/) redo a MB wheel to wood/leather. I sent them a sample of the burl wood in the car and they matched it perfectly. Would also highly recommend.

I think my wheel from carsdream (less the core fee) was around $200.
I do not think carsdream will touch airbags though.
My recovered wheel matched my leather airbag perfectly.
Shipping to Poland isn't that expensive.

Nice recommend, Tanger. Looks like they also dye leather and vinyl either to match, or a completely different color. I'll be bookmarking that one ..

Carsdream for the WIN! I paid $180 total and it was worth the wait. Dallas steering wheel is just way too expensive.

aribop, was that $180 without shipping? We paid about that plus shipping, of course. Though they did some custom stuff for most of us in the group.

$400 will be more than enough, the recover will only cost you $200, and shipping shouldnt run you more than $30 each way... i used a corporate discount with fedex to return my old wheel, but using USPS worked just fine when they sent it to me.

i had them ship me a finished wheel FIRST, then i sent them my 3 spoke wheel as a core for a core refund.

I am doing kind of my own design on it.
Alcantera, Thickening, Thumb-rests, Perforated leather, Deleting steering wheel switches.
Its a 1990 300ZX wheel

Mike, the check I wrote to you was for $188.55. That was minus my shipping the wheel to you. So maybe throw in another $20? Not sure what deal you worked with them for the group buy but I am happy I participated.
