Default Valentine One Mounting/Install suggestions??

I've done a forum search, but it doesn't seem to be working....

Does anyone have some pictures/description of some mounting/wiring suggestions for a Valentine One setup besides the twisted wire to a cigarette lighter? Obviously looking for a keyed 12V source and some sort of mounting area. Haven't had a lot of time in my 'new' 1996 C4S - it's been at FD Motorsports having a lot of work done since the day I bought it.

Going to stereo shop after picking it up this Friday. Any suggestions/ideas appreciated.

Best, TD

Thanks EMBPilot,

Any chance you can show a closer picture of the bar and how you attached it? Also, what material is the bar made of?

Both myself and David in LA posted our V1 installs, but as noted, the search funcation appears to be broken.

In any event, we both used flat metal bars, either aluminum or steel will work.

Unscrew the visor holders. Drill holes to align with those holes, mount your device in the center. Put the bar on the roof and re attach the visor holders to hold the bar in place.
When the search function is functioning again, I will post some links.

Here is David's :https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...one-mount.html

This is by far the coolest install I've seen.
Wish I could do this but if I heard that if I get stopped with a hardwired radar detector the cops tow the car $$$
