I'm going to go out on a limb here and completely expect to get flamed a bit but in defense of AKTUNG, I've noticed some members take a bit too much joy in jabbing when a "new guy" looks for help.

Lord knows I'm an idiot and am forever grateful for the help that this forum and it's members have offered, but if I got the responses some have given (and some deserved it I must admit) I would of said tohellwiththoseguys also.

Every forum has it's share of smart*sses, that's what the "ignore user" option is for. But I truly hope some remember when they were not so smart regarding their new love the 993. Just sayin.

And well said, we've all been there...at least those of us who can remember that far back,

I think some folks just grew wary of some of his less than kind replies to their help. He can still pull out of it though - his reputation isn't yet set in stone.

I'm not as in tune as you are Bonnie so I may stand corrected. Could be I'm a bit tender after posting a simple question in the "Off Topic" section, I WILL NOT make the mistake of going there again lol. No, I'm not thin skinned, just a bit intolerant of some types. Guess I'm getting a bit Crotchety........

Sorry to hear of that experience! Off Topic can be caustic. I do not know what went on there, but if you read the earlier part of this thread, you might see why some of these guys got on his case. It's really nothing ... it just looks worse in print. My bet is that these guys would all get along great if they met in "real life."

Absolutely-if you're ever here for a visit, give a yell.

Maybe I'm reading between the lines, but to be clear-none of my comments were directed to Aktung. I've replied to his questions, as best I can. He's taken enough this week.

Sure, I've made semi-snarky comments, but toward someone else, who is all to predictable, and is pretty transparent in his rhetoric.

Again, Ed ... that is a gorgeous car. Since this thread is pretty much wound down, mind posting a pic?

Sure Bon, fresh from today. The Walrod bushings even help it take great pics!
