For a good many of us, that is probably true, but there are others who take more comfort in working with a warranty, or some other means of recourse that Truspeed, Sloan, Holt etc... can provide.

Check out R&H Motor Car Group
http://www.motorcargroup.com/
Their inventory is awesome. I have been there and their cars are first class. They specialize in low mileage cars.

Default This is the place...

SGS Motorsports aka Smith Volvo in San Luis Obispo, CA. The owner Brent Smith and his son Ian seem to have the ability to find primo used Porsche cars. SGS has a renowned Porsche maintenance/repair facility on site under their umbrella, Guys Independent Car Care. Brent is a long tome Porsche Club racer...a racing buddy of mine. He has had everything from a 993 GT to to a 993 RS CS....he has a GT3 car...RS America....I have been a customer of their service department (Guys Independent Car Care) since 2006. They take great care of me and they know how to do race car prep too.

You might also check with your local independent Porsche mechanic shops to see if there are any well maintained customer cars that might be available.
