Does anyone happen to know what size screw/fastener Porsche used to attach the Windstop brackets (Pivots in the book) to the top frame. The only reference I found called them cheeseheads. No size, length, pitch. Thanks.

Craig,
I might be able to help you but it may take a week for me to get to my cab.
Cheesehead screws are round like a cheese wheel, usually slotted.
The attachment screws may well be hexhead.
Here is a pic for you, I can check the size in a week or so.

Is that a rubber cover on the "ball" shaped screw? Mine doesn't have that and I always wondered why it shook. Do you know if it's OEM, meaning something I can order?

Here you go . .
It is a self tapping hex head w/ a shallow depth head, not common in hardware stores. I'm not sure if a taller hex head would interfere w/ mechanical operation, but the shallow head fits flush w/ the stop brackets.
All parts are listed in the PET.
