So I guess I save some money for now.
That is so unscientific. Mine "passed" the bounce test, this is an age-old alleged test of shocks, but it means nothing on Porsches-maybe Buicks and Cadillacs. When I put the new shocks on, it was like a new car. Stock Porsche shocks in the 993 era, weren't the best for longevity.

Speaking for myself my car with that setup is not too stiff, at all,, it's just that the ride compliance sucks.

Good point!
That is normally the issue for those who don't like the combo

He did also take the car out for a test drive with me and looked for leaks. as well.
I'd have to drive another 993 with newer shock to see for myself. Thanks.
