When Ilko gave me a ride in his C4S, I jokingly offered to get a water gun and lean out of his window to make a new 993 avatar.
That's where I learned his 964 avatar's history - from the man himself...

Wow! That is AWESOME and absolutely gorgeous Ilko, right down to it's match painted console :-D ... One of my all time favorite Porsche colors!

Thanks! Yeah, it has exactly 30 additional options from the factory, the majority are for the interior - orange painted surfaces, orange stitching throughout, and apparently they've had to kill quite a few alcantaras for their hides...

The car is bone stock save for cosmetic stuff that you see. I'm a bit ambivalent about the orange stripes on the wheels but the tint has to go. Other than that I'm planning on keeping it as is for a little while (famous last words, I know).

I really like that detail .. especially on the blackout wheels because it gives a subtle color-key'ed visual break between wheel and tire. Before the new museum in Stuttgart opened, I went there to see the old museum one last time ... you used to have to walk by the 'executive parking lot' to access it and there must of been 20+ 997's in there ... all different models .. but all of them had body color keyed accent stripes on their wheels .. so I assumed it was a factory offered option.
