The kit was installed for some upcoming track usage but ended up buying a cup car for that instead. So removed the clutch kit, among other track goods, installed the stock stuff, sold the car, now selling the remaining track goods.
I think the kit is great in the 964/993. Depends on your usage for the car, but mine are all used as sports cars, not show cars or road trippers.

There are a lot of threads on the topic with opinions both for and against. It really just depends on what you want from your car, what your priorities are, and to some extent, your driving skill level.
The lighter clutch kit will improve acceleration, improve throttle blip response, and can decrease wear on the transmission.
The trade-offs can be an increase in noise level at idle, the cost, and some have a hard time adjusting to the different nuances such as release point or idle control.
Some aren't willing to trade the pros for the cons. No problem in that. Others really love the way it makes a difference in how sporty the car feels. I would try reading a bit from others experiences and see what side you think you fall into.

Good deal for a great upgrade! I have been reading about some people talking about drivability - I have had these in my 993's for several years, and have had zero issues on drivability - in fact the clutch feel is better and it works great. It may be more around clutch skill than anything...
The only place to be cautious is around the ODBI cars (95's) - they may not handle this upgrade well, resulting in stalling issues.
Only caution is I seem to remember the flywheel bolts are once-only, have to look that one up...
Good Luck with the Sale!
Cheers,
Mike

95's are not the only year where LWF's are known to have stalling issues. Around 70% of all 95's are known to have stalling issues with the LWF and I have read about other years who have experienced stalling as well. Just an FYI.

I have not seen anyone gather statistics, so I am not sure where the 70% came from, but I am willing to bet any problems with ODBII cars are likely around other system issues, like a dirty ISV, etc. Those problems seem to be quite rare, but no numbers seem to be available, and its hard to say if it's an issue given we do not know the size of overall RS flywheel sales. I have personally installed 5 now, with zero issues, and know of several others who have had zero issues, all on 96 or higher cars. I would not hesitate to put this on any of my cars.

The factory 964 RS America's that these parts came installed in have the same nuances. A simple throttle blip when coming to a stop cures any stalling problems. For me, it is absolutely not a problem and it is second nature to give an engine a throttle blip when the RPMs dip that low. I don't even think about it. Others have a much harder time with it. It may not be for everyone, but I find it hard to make a blanket statement that these aren't good for cars pre-95 because that's when they had them installed from the factory.

I love the direct feeling you get with this package both on the road and
especially on the track.

I had no clue the RSAs came with these parts installed by the factory.
Had I known that, I would have never installed them myself during the first phase of my build.
The second phase absolutely cannot be driven on the street.

There is no fix for the rocks-in-the-dryer noises at idle though. This thing would out embarass an old Mercedes diesel. Or an E30 M3 if you ever had the pleasure.

I'll take it, if you can ship USPS to Canada (UPS will screw me with brokerage fees).
Am in meetings all dayat work but will PM you this evening
