Default 993 RSCS Wing Gasket

Hey guys, does anyone happen to have the part number for the Clubsport wing gasket? (mounts between the wing and the deck lid)

Thanks Colin. I couldn't remember if they had them or not, It's been a while since I was around a factory car.

There is no gasket for either the RS or RS/CS wing

Just for fun here's a 1997 part/price list in DM back then 1$US was ~1.6DM

No gasket but I have one from a 964 turbo. Could've just thrown it in the box I sent you last week If I knew you needed it.

I personally would run a gasket on this type of wing, it seems to reduce stress on the FG wing when the lid is slammed or the car goes over bumps, etc.

No worries Ilko... I'll see how it all bolts up and then make a decision. If the factory didn't I am sure there was a reason...

That is exactly why the aftermarket is so strong!

i just bought some 3/4" wide adhesive backed foam insulation at my local home repair store.
I cut it into pieces and applied it to the deck lid between the fastener locations.
works fine
"invisible"

#4, 5, 8 & 9 are the parts that are always missing on the RS/CS spoilers
#4 is rubber and they give you 2x's what is needed, It's also almost reasonably priced and #5 is a ridiculously expensive piece of steel, that you can get from McMaster for $10 including shipping

#12 & 10 are always missing on the RS spoiler, sometimes because they were never installed and sometimes because they get brushed off
