AMELIA ISLAND this weekend
Hey guys, getting ready to head up to Amelia as we speak
I am registered to attend the 50th anniversary celebration of the Porsche 911 seminar this afternoon at 4:00 (get Peter Schutz to autograph my copy of the "Driving Force")
Cars & Coffee at the Ritz-Carlton on Saturday promises to be otherworldly for mere mortals
Planning on covering RM auctions later Saturday featuring no less than 16 Porsches including the Don Davis collection
On Sunday I will be at the concourse d'Elegance; my focus is heavily centered on all things Porsche with only a passing interest for the rest so look for follow-up post with pics from new Olympus OM-D
If anyone from the forum is going to be around please respond

"Why I Wish I Attended the Porsche 911 Seminar at Amelia Island This Year"
Bet you had a blast! I'm a big Amelia Island fan.
Was invited by friends & family, but didn't make it this year; looking forward to seeing the fun y'all had
Did you see Friday's downtown display after the 'Marque Car Road Tour?'
More pics & good reading on RLer 993-C4S' flatSixes.com:

Leo ^^ Pics or it didn't happen!
Mike-- Glad you like. What's your favorite?
Mine's the red '85 design study Speedster
(How might it look with a clamshell like the factory's '83 SC prototype?)

Jäger, as always you are a great source for pics.
Thanks in particular for the 959 photos. "BBPW 916" was one of the production prototypes and has been featured in MANY articles over the years. It was also given to Prof. Bott as a retirement gift. With his passing, I assume it is now in new hands. Porsche history at its wonderful best.

Great pics curve.
I can't believe that 959 has Pascha!
That white 934 might be my favorite. The red speedster prototype is interesting. But a certain red Speedster has raised my Speedster standards
Take care!
