I didn't know the mirrors are fold-able...

That is several thousand dollars of custom tools on the wall in the last shots ... wow.

When I wash the car, I often fold the mirrors to make sure to clean in the swivel joint. Its handy when you need to fold them in, although with the Turbo, someone is likely to take out the back hips before dinging the mirror... :-)

Cheers,

Mike

I only understood a little.

"Yes Reinhard, you have very nice cars in your garage, but you must agree, there is nothing better than a 993 cabriolet. Ja?
It is nice Heinrich Ja." Lol.

The whole discussion is about if the 993 still has the the original 911 DNA in it and if it is a classic car carrying dispite its wind tunnel design, tiptronic and airbags.

Both the guy with the 60´s 911 and the 930 and the porsche sales guy said that the 993 is indeed a classic 911.

That´s the short version

I did make out a few words here and there.

The part I found amusing is how the classic owner was dusting his baby inside the garage, quickly hid the duster upon the knock on the door, and appeared non-chalant about the whole thing...

Hallmarks of a car nut.

Yeah, that was a good bit of humour for sure, and we have all done that. The older car does have some patina (like the marks on the mirrors and the scratches on the door frames) but it looks well loved.
