Default 996 cup conversion to street?

Anyone out there know if it's possible to convert a 996 cup car to a street legal car? What would you need to do and how much $ are we talking?
Thanks

The short answer is that if the car was originally a US market street car with a VIN starting with WP0AA2 then yes. If it has a WP0ZZZ VIN then no.

Maybe the 996 forum would be a better place to ask?
