I lived in The Tampa area for a few years and purchased my 96 there. Unfortunately I can't give you the name of any reputable shops in the area but I can warn of a shop to avoid:
Eurocars Tampa, 4026 West Crest Ave Tampa, FL 33614
I believe they've closed shop and moved to Orlando but, just in case, avoid it and its owner (Darron Sims) and employee (Abraham) like the plague. Over promise, under deliver...

VSR Morotsports is Viperbob's shop. He's a legendary 993 Rennlister...They are on Hillsborough Ave just north of the airport.
Chilly Performance is on Anderson Road right around the corner from there. Great air cooled guy..
