just finished the article in Panorama about Dario Franchitti's '73 911E, and the fellow that did the motor work was named Gordon Ledbetter in Oregon. Does anyone have any contact info for him or his shop?
my motor has 161k on it, and have been considering my options. I'm not going 3.8 or super charged, but I like what they did with Dario's car, so I'd like to have a conversation with him. I'd like getting up to 325hp on the 3.6 motor w/o crazy mods.
I've not read article but I think that is Jeff Smith's old car with a factory 3.8RS motor in it. Gordon posts on the early S site occasionally probably pelican as well.

I *think* Gordon is retired now. He used to work in conjunction with Jeff Gamroth.
Gordon isn't building motors any longer and considers himself "semi-retired". I think his current restoration project will be the last one he does for anyone.
Super super guy with an encyclopaedic knowledge of these cars in detail that VERY few appreciate.

Phil,
Its not the magnesium-manifold, factory M64/20 motor, but its a VERY healthy and carefully built 3.8RS spec engine that made better than average power.
Marc,
if you insist on hiring someone from the Pacific Northwest to do the job you're planning, I suppose Steve Weiner will get some recommendations, here.
But your profile says you're in Florida. There's got to be someone closer to you who should be able to do this for you.
