X50type is correct "SPEEDLINE for PORSCHE" or some derivation of that phrase. If you search in this forum asking: "SPEEDLINE wheels" you will find posts with photos of the wheels in question.
^^^ Sometimes that logo is missing if the wheels have been polished for some reason. You should post pictures of the wheels in question if you can, there are a few people here that can tell you if they're authentic or not just by looking at the bolt heads ...
^^^ correct, the difference being the latter are 'commissioned' by Porsche for a specific model car as a factory offered wheel. i.e. 964 3.6 Turbo or 993 RS
My understanding is that Alessio Speedline for Porsche wheels were never fitted as OE from Stuttgart and the wheels shown are not Speedline for Porsche wheels..

that's correct, the Speedline Alessio have a center similar to Speedline for Porsche, the barrels appear to be the same design but have differing widths. Hardware may or may not be different the oe Speedline for Porsche have a green tint to them, the Alissios I had had been rebuilt and the hardware was not at all the same. Weights were comaparable
It's not just about the 'Speedline for Porsche' etching - you can pay to have that stenciled / etched on any set of wheels you want - you can tell a real SL for Porsche wheel by the bolt heads and the Porsche part # on the rear side of the spokes....

I will have my set for sale very soon. I purchased them thru sun coast and they came directly from Germany. I have original boxes and packing. I had them on my. 993 cab I sold this past fall. They are in mint condition. I believe I paid with tax delivery etc close to 5k 2-3 yrs ago but they were almost impossible to get your hands on an original set. I think they are 6 k plus now thru sun coast.
