Damn. But given Stephanie's postings on Facebook, I knew it never looked good. May he be in a better place now.
And I just was thinking about him yesterday in posting on our "is it a lifter or low oil pressure" thread....... Yeah, that way to tell L v. R on the cams was but one of his originals.
So that makes all three of the guys who clued me into 911s when I got first started with these things are now gone: Jim Pasha, some guy you've never heard about but he was a German who set up shop in the Bay Area--Ludwig Katz, and now Bruce.

Damn. I was afraid this might happen.
Bruce was one helluva nice guy and very generous (and patient) with his time for helping people. Smart as a whip and opinionated, just like all of us. Nobody had more integrity than Bruce and while someone might not have liked his answer, it came from the heart and contained the truth.
I really enjoyed our phone conversations and some good laughs discussing some of the questions he received for the Excellence & Pano columns.
Porsche owners as well as friends, animal lovers, and family have lost a resource, a terrific friend, and husband.
Godspeed, pal. Now, you can cut that great lap at the "Ring" & LeMans.

Well, I'm sorry to hear this Jo .. You know ... we had our differences, but he was a great Porsche enthusiast and you can't fault that.

I didn't know Mr. Anderson, but I always enjoyed reading what he wrote. He was to the point and succinct, traits not often found these days. May he rest in peace and may his family find solace in memories of him.

Sorry to hear. He'll be missed. I can't even think of Porsche without thinking of Bruce Anderson. The guy had his opinions (who doesn't), but the wealth of knowledge and even more importantly his willingness to share it have certainly benefited us all and will continue to do so for years to come. Thanks Bruce. RIP.

I did not know Bruce. I read a lot of what he wrote when I was looking into buying the 911 I now have but I did not connect any of it to his name at the time. I am bad with names.
I give a lot of respect to teachers and educators of any variety. Thanks Bruce. R.I.P.
