Hi all,

My first post and I would like to draw on the wisdom of the forum.

Please help me identify whether the foot rest in question is for 993 or 996? I think its for a 996 or even a boxster, judging by the shape and my internet reserach.

I had ordered a set of Designtek pedal set for my RHD 993 Carrera 4S online (I won't name anyone). I was very excited as the quality of the aluminium milling is great. Problem strikes when I attempted to install. The foot rest does not even come close to fitting. Refer to photos.

I contacted the sales staff and they claimed that they had sent the correct foot rest specific to 993 and insinuate that I am so stupid as to fit in the wrong way and should try to install it upside down.

Anyhow, can anyone shed light on this as I seem to be arguing with the supplier.

That is a 996 one, the RHD 964/993 one is a tiny little one that just fits over the plastic section to the left of your clutch pedal, it is flat and not 2 sided as the 996 one is. They got it very wrong!

Can anyone else second the above opinion? I am going to provide link for the sales staff to look at, obviously leveraging the power of this forum and members.
