Over the weekend, I flew to Florida to pick up a 2002 Speed Yellow TT with 19K miles and a few nice upgrades. K24 Turbos, Exhaust upgrade, X73 euro suspension, ECU upgrade, diverter valves and such. I already have a set of Euro GT3 seats and black OZ ultralaggera HLT waiting to go on the car.
I drove straight from Ft. Laurerdale to Nashville so I could stop and visit Brendan993 on Monday evening. Brendan actually purchased the second Porsche I ever owned ( 95 Polar Silver 993) back in 2001, which he still owns. It was nice to see my old car and meet Brendan ( and wife). Great people
I think he also enjoyed taking my water pumper out for a slowww ride....
Spent the night in Nashville and was back home by 10:00 AM on Tuesday.
Well, here are some picks of the car. My second Speed Yellow TT. I previously owned a 2004 X50 SY TT.
BTW, I still have my 23K mile GR 993, which is going through some slippery slope modifications.

Wait - that looks like your old car! Think I have a pic of it some place.

Congrats.

It does, a little. My old X50 was stock except for the GT2 Kennises black center wheels, nav, carbon fiber stuff and stock heated seats.
I gave that one away, back in 2008. It actually had about the same miles as this one has now.
I like the way this one sounds with the upgraded exhaust. Kind of reminds me of my old 79 built up 930 Turbo.

lol..I actually had typed, "I hope you don't give this one away", and then erased it. I followed that FS thread and remember it well.

Still love the blue one.

Beautiful car Al. Thanks for letting me take it for a spin...it was a pretty addictive drive and I didn't really get on it that much. It was great to meet you after all this time and hope to see you again someday. Glad you made it home safe.
