Congrats on the purchase. Look forward to seeing pics of the car.

Well, let's see - car was a week late; no communication that was not initiated by me; was supposed to be transported enclosed, but arrived as if it had been driven cross country (CA to FL, 'dirty as a wallowing sow'); and backed it off the open, pick-em-up truck towed trailer with the sound of scrapping exhaust tips on the asphalt -- tip! "Don't let the door hit ya' where the Lord split ya!"

Brad - I too gulp as I didn't tip at all even though I'm normally a good tipper and give fivers to the homeless on corners. I was just so overwhelmed by the delivery experience I was in a trance.

My transport was mostly driven by another guy I never met then handed off in N. Cal. And they took a week longer than promised but it was over the xmas holiday. And $2100

But I did tell the driver I'd make him famous. I sent this to him and his boss

I never met my driver as he dropped the car off at the shop on a Sunday (met the owner there). I mailed him the tip. He hadn't been home in 4 months, literally going job to job.

I gave the Intercity driver $60. They were nice folks and the car was handled great.
