I particularly liked the part when Harris mentions to Dickinson the "hundreds of thousands" in development costs just for the body. The look on Rob's face was priceless!
Money is all scale...many people who could never afford a 993 think the same of us..."how much for an old car?"...If I had the kind of money that could buy this without rocking my boat it would be near the top of my list...a dream, hand-built bespoke 911.
Great video, Chris is always fun to watch and feels like just one of the guys.
The Singers are great cars alright but so is a 993, just throw some thoughtfully applied dollars at your cars and would be as happy as a Singer owner.
Agree especially at the low $300's-$500,000. I love the interior and would love that in my car. I like to go on long trips with the A/C on, iPod playing through the stereo, and still be relatively quiet on the highway.

Agreed. I know I'm in the minority but I wouldn't trade my 993 (the 95) for a Singer (with the assumption I couldn't sell whichever car I picked). Singer is nice, but it's not a 993.......
I do wonder about the claim that the Singer starts with the best 911 chassis.......
They start w/ the best air cooled chassis for their purpose, which is an updated 911RSR look, w/ modern amenities.
I have fallen in love w/ various 911s over the years
first was the '73 RS and RSR(Singer is right there in the looks dept) updated in '84 SC/RS, 993RS/RSR, and gen 2 997GT3
these all look right to me.
But I'll stick w/ my 993 especially if I could get the 360hp Singer engine in it.
The guys that buy Singers are looking for something else though, Maybe exclusivity or Jonesin their peers, You see that a lot in the yacht market place too where people pay exorbitantly for custom work which while extremely nice is not really significantly functionally better than more production stuff.
A year ago Singers were going between $200-300k. Now all of the sudden they are $400-500k when they realize big bloated fat cats would pay that. That is just ridiculous money. But hey, who am I to argue with free market economics.
