Default PSS9 rebuild info

I'm sending my PSS9s to Bilstein for a rebuild, $175 per shock per Bilstein's website. I've done some searches but there appears to be little specific info and a lot of uncertainty on this topic. Would appreciate info from anyone who has done this before, how happy you were with the service, whether you had them revalved, whether you also replaced the springs, etc. Thanks.

Bilstein SD rebuilt mine(Cup shocks) they did a great job.

As I understand it digressive valves are oe on PSSS9/10, ask them to be sure as you do want digressive valving. They stock valving is supposed to be good for up to ~150# over stock springs, so if you are putting stiffer springs on them that's another area to be addressed

I just had one of mine done by them and didn't have any issues. Turned out to be about $250 by the time all was said and done though.

Default Me too...

I had them rebuild mine last year. Very painless...my local shop keeps dummy struts and shocks for me.

If an when I ever figure out:
1. What spring ratings I can up grade too with a 3,100 Lb 993 99% track 993
2. Where do I get such springs (Probably Swift)
3. The appropriate valving.

I will send the shocks and struts to Bilstein and tell them I plan to install, as an example, 600# front 800# rear, ask them to re-valve accordingly.
