I always thought about putting a silver badge on my Glacier White 993. Recently a RLer offered non-OEM silver badges on the For Sale Forum for $30 shipped so I decided to give it a try. I was actually blown away by the quality of the badge and was drawn to it because the badge artwork matched the silver logo on my OEM wheel center caps and also, I'm told, the silver badge on the 3-spoke steering wheels with silver logo. Here are some pics. I think he still has some left. His ad is buried on pg 4 if you're interested. No affiliation whatsoever. https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...d-emblems.html

Actually what it helped me see is that the silver really works but I think I ultimately want silver with black and red bars to get a red pop. Then maybe even red calipers, red seat belts, and red logo on black Lloyd mats. One slow step at a time. That's whats fun about minor visual mods. Getting them all at once would take away the fun for me at least.

As a lurker I gotta admit it puzzles me to see. For 30 bucks it's not worth it but for free it is. The poster who offered it did so in the great spirit of RL. What a place this is. The givers and the takers.

More like a Pay-It-Forward... there are a lot of free/highly discounted deals that go down like this, particularly on this forum, as well as even trades (which I'm in the middle of right now). I don't see any problem with that, as long as all parties are happy, then let the deals flow between fellow enthusiasts.
