Jussi,
If you put GT2 flares in rear, you should put GT2 flares in front also (even if you get fiberglass or c/f fenders), it will look better...
Will it be done by summer? I think I'll come to Finland this summer so I think I need to test your sauna and admire the badass car over few bottles of Karhu...

The FVD flares and skirts look and flow much better than the factory one in my opinion.

The reason I would like to change the color is that I somehow don't like the GT2 body in silver. I don't know what it is but it just doesn't look good in my eyes.
Orange, yellow, green, blue would all be nice colors but I have never seen a slate grey GT2 so that's what I want. Slate grey with red inserts...yummy!
I would definately do this before summer and Petu, you are allways welcome to my little ranch for some sauna and karhu perkele!!!

Never been much of a silver/gray fan, seems a little too understated. If you're really going to go to all the trouble of a color change, why not pick something other than what is basically just a darker shade of what you've already got. Zenith, Cobalt or Iris Blue comes to mind.

frankly, you're absolutely right: it was a yes or no question and not a "which color" one. So i personelly would suggest blood orange

Someday hopefully, I'll decoratively festoon some 993 likewise...and I'll endure sleepless nights, and probably a day or two of binge drinking to decide on color too. Something to aspire to in my old age I reckon.

Ah, the simplicity of the Olden Days when color changing a torsion bar car wasn't that big a deal. (And every slope conversion ended up being Guards Red, so making sure you erased every bit of Sepia Brown, etc. helped my work stand out from the quickie conversions.
I'd go whatever direction gives you most pleasure. As I'm ready to finally proceed on repairing the yellow car, I'm really weighing doing the similar GT2 look. And eliminating every trace of Speed Yellow "while I'm in there". Not that the car will be any faster on track..... Finding that elusive body guy who understands that I've basically got a track rat, and not a concours entry, has been nearly a year long challenge. From my observations over the years, seems that this isn't as much of an issue elsewhere in the world.

If I was going grey, I pick this color.
I do not know the paint's name. Maybe someone else does?
it's not my car. Owner is "911ist".
I hope he doesn't mind me reposting his photo.
