Clear side marker LED

Thanks but those are the lenses, I was looking for Clear / Silver Bulbs that flashed amber in color to avoid the "Fried Egg" look that amber colored bulbs give through clear lenses.
After a bit more of poking around I found where many are just running clear bulbs, here I thought amber was required by law but some have posted that is not the case.

I am fairly sure they will blink orange, but you will have the egg yolk effect when not in use. That is why many buy the orange bulbs with a silver coating so that the orange can only be seen when the bulb is on.
BTW is there a state or federal law that requires the front blinkers to be amber/orange?

Burning Brakes
LED
One can convert side markers, turn signals, and brake lights to LEDs. The front amber LEDs (with clear side markers) appear white except for a very small amber LED, but blink amber. The rear amber LEDs cannot be seen through the red lenses, but brightly blink amber even though the lens is red. The red LED brake lights are really impressive. Also you need to replace the flasher unit to slow down the LED blinking, with access to the flasher through the left-most dash gauge hole.

Has anyone had any problem with the LED lights being too hot? I recently installed a very professional quality LED set of lights from Bergvill and have been happy with them. Then the other night my leg grazed the clear front right turning signal as I was leaving the garage and it felt hot to the tough. I'm concerned the LED's might be hot enough to damage the plastic. Anyone have any experience with this?

Nut size to remove the front bumperettes?
Silly Question but Need an Answer: I picked up the BergvilleFX LED kit for the 993, including amber side markers (the LED bulbs themselves appear sliver with tiny orange diodes) - but I cannot get the bumperettes off to access the light bulb housing. None of my sockets are deep enough to fit over the extended bolts. Can someone tell me what size is that nut so I can buy a deep socket to clear the extended bolt?
Many Thanks!!
Many Thanks!!

Three Wheelin'
I've found that 82.37% of all fasteners on the 993 are 13mm.
This one, however, is 10mm, the 2nd most common size on the 993 in my experience.
Get a 1/4" drive as the 3/8" is probably too wide to fit.

Very late to this conversation.....
(Life has a way of happening when you're busy making other plans...)
I found these bulbs to be an excellent conversion both to LED and to avoid the "fried egg" appearance of orange color bulbs in a clear housing.
They completely disappear in the housing and put out a very nice even orange light when blinking. Dual element - so no issues.
