Hello! New member.

I've been through a ton of Porsches myself but the 993 is going to stay with me till the end even though I only see it on holidays back to my hometown.
Hello neighbor, how are things in BC? Your Carrera looks almost identical to my 2002 C2.

Thank you! I've always wanted a triple black, it's a dream com true. A triple black is great for the PNW.
The 993 is my fourth and last Porsche I will ever own it is definitely a bucket list item!
The engine and exhaust sound is exhilarating as well as the feel of the nimble ride. As you accelerate you become one with the driver's seat
and become an integral part of the vehicle. What a feeling, you can only experience with a Porsche 993! I am smitten with this car.
I've already purchased a Becker/Porsche CDR 220 radio and installed it last evening, it was a piece of cake and it sounds great,
but the faceplate needs an upgrade to be fully viewed from the cockpit. I was hoping to do the faceplate upgrade somewhere locally here in the
Seattle area, so I'd love some recommendations where to have it done.
I also discovered that it has Eibach springs on the original struts, the suspension feels great and very responsive to my driving style.
I will be taking additional pics later today of the car in it's new environment and take advantage of this weekend's sunny conditions here in the PNW
and will update this post.
As you can tell we are having a big freeze here in the Cascades, at 12:41 PM PDT the temp was 29 degrees with Mount Pilchuck towering above our foothills:

The spring lower the car quite a bit, the shocks will start to leak very soon with the springs, so be prepared to replace the stock shocks soon.
There is no place to get the faceplate locally, you got to go through Becker USA. But they are fast, and do great work.
Hopefully there will be another 993 Fest in June over here and you can stretch your new ride's legs with it's brethren!

You've had an awesome collection of Porsche's over the years and glad you finally found the one. Enjoy.
