Amazing post! AFAIK the only RL post in the world with that detail:
just the time amount of time required for searching & sharing must have been substantial

With such a compliment coming from the master of comprehensive posts, I feel special!

Meh, wasn't too much. I already knew about all of them, just needed to find good pics.

Pics of Goldie's interior are widely circulated. There are a few pictures of the orange car's interior. I've never seen pictures of the interior of the purple and blue cars. The purple car's interior looks to be maroon from its glory pic. Something tells me the blue car's interior might be......... blue.

The orange and gold cars are some of the handful of cars to get leather gauge faces. I'd bet the rest also have leather gauge faces.

And that post is now edited with more accurate info!

The story was that it was custom ordered new by a member of the Bacardi family in Miami. The exclusive options list was 20+ items long, as I recall, including pretty much everything in the interior being leather-covered including the power window switches, heating vents, speaker grills, gauge bezels and even the plastic surrounds for the power seat controls. The price was about then-current market for a 993 cab (around $45k), reflecting both its low miles (around 20,000) and a discount for what some referred to as the "smurfmobile" color scheme. I passed on buying it, but have wondered whatever happened to it.

Did someone mention "Smurfmobile"?

It was in CA a few years back, no idea where it is now.

Tasty!

Wasn't this done like 5+ years ago? I remember another thread of his with a nicely modded earlier 911, 88 or 89.
