He decided to drive what he calls his "city car": a 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. Stepping into the garage, he tugged a thick fabric cover from the car. The interior was a pristine matte black, and the paint job was a startlingly luminous azure. "It's called Mexico blue — a very traditional Porsche color," Seinfeld said.

I read an interview with him recently where he said he originally ordered the car in Riviera Blue but the factory wouldn't or couldn't comply and suggested Mexico Blue instead which was the closest color to RB that they could provide at the time. I think this is the car that Porsche 'jostled' around in the factory line in the final days of 993 production so it could be called 'The Last' aircooled 911 produced.

My 993 is my daily, too. Ruining the clutch going up and down hills, dinging it squeezing in small parking spaces, and risking it being run off the road by other San Francisco drivers. Doesn't take 600M (or the 800M the article says he has). Not even 100M. Just a certain bit of insanity -- insanity that apparently we share with Jerry....
