They are nice wheels and all and I respect the fact that you are doing something different (unlike myself), but I think the wheels look too small and the tires are too meaty! Again, my opinion (which really doesn't matter to anyone but me ).

Again thanks...I am completely satisfied with the wheels, tires, stance and drivability with the higher profile. Frankly, I am warming up to my idea on the calipers, etc. every time I look at the car. Still think I need to add some color on the rockers.
Re: Fuchs, Not sure how much lip you would lose in the rear but it may be worth your while to explore with Keith at Zuffenhaus (can't remember if FuchsFelgte have 17"s available yet for 993)....Custom fitting like I did and the time it takes is your biggest challenge if you go the Zuff route. My most consuming timeline was the finish I chose on the wheels. Let us know if you do....always interested in you would be a pioneer for the NB crowd...

I personally would have done the calipers and script in a gun metal color to match the trim on the rear bumper.
I think it needs something else in green to tie it all together. The side view mirrors painted to match would look good IMO.
