Default "Porsche 911 Carrera 4S" - that's a lot of words for rear badging :o)

Wonder why they felt the need to add in the "Porsche 911" part before the Carrera 4S script?

Not complaining about the looks of the car, just kind of surprised it took Porsche this long to put all that description on the rear. Maybe next year they'll add in the horsepower #'s too back there.

Is this the first year they've done this? Don't remember ever reading this much before on the back of a C4S.

Pretty sweet looking...

Old school simple is nice too... I can still tell it's a Porsche without the extra writing there The Porsche logo is barely visible in ours as it's stealthily "hidden" in the rear lights.

I hate it. Can't decide how I'd do it if it were mine, but maybe just "Porsche," maybe just "Carrera 4S," or maybe just "911."

^I agree, it looks even worst in person. I think either the top line or the bottom is fine. Personally, I'd probably leave the PORSCHE since it's a throwback to the early 911-style rear decklid lettering.

At a starting MSRP of $105,630 that's only $5,560/letter. Sounds like a steal to me.

Way too wordy - almost like a dumbed-down explanation for those that don't/can't full appreciate what it is they are looking at.

thumbs down.

Says a lot about a car when the only thing to moan about is badging. Personally I think its way too busy. By the time you've made your way down to the model its already way off into the distance.

You guys are missing the point. It allows Porsche to sell the rear badge delete 3 times as opposed to only once.

The charge will be per badge group.

Now 'Porsche', '911' and 'Carrera 4S' will be sold as separate delete options...

I'm not sure...but I think this is why they offer the emblem DELETE option when you buy a new one.

I saw a 991 in a traffic jam today. Started reading the badging on the back but couldn't finish in time.

Too many letters and too much shiny stuff all over the car. I'll be glad when the glitter trend (Chrome and LED strips) in automotive "style" is over. It's well beyond passe' when Buick is doing it.
