The 2cd one listed buy the OP has a price tag of 200k euro's so around $260k.

Not so, the wing is there to supply ram air to the intercoolers and to the engine air intake and of course some downforce, cheers,

And my guess is the wing will be sorely needed to keep that car planted at speed. Classic look is not what the Dr. ordered for a car like this.

Thanks gents, I learnt something. Makes sense, Ruf seem to do little without reason. I've wondered before if you could have the intercoolers side mounted Ruf style but then with TurboS rear qtr panel vents feeding into them (large enough diameter?). I'd still loose the wing for the smooth look I crave and then as the car is out of control about to kill me I'd scream "dumbass chose form over function".

Its simple really. Lightness costs money, and by having heavier wheels, Ruf can keep the cost down. Oh, wait a minute. Never mind.
