Default P/N's for the 993 Rear Seat Delete.

Lending a hand on a 993 RSD issue, and need the P/N's list for the attached drawing.

I checked the PET, and other sources.

Thanks in advance,

Gerry

Also, there are two RSD's on eBay.

Just as a reference, I converted my RSD from a 964 to 993 and had to purchase the hoops (#39) and they cost 330.- Euros.
Basically 2 bent pipes with a flange at the end.
You won't even be able to purchase most of the piece parts of the bill of material anymore. There's nothing in stock.
Just wait and search and eventually you'll find one. I was on the hunt for over 3 years and finally found a perfect example to convert over.
Be prepared to pay for it.

Don't need the unit, but just a few parts for a friend.

Also, you are spot on about the scareness of these RSD's,
and replacement parts.

Not having been apprised of this option (M419) when we bought the car,
I looked for at least 10 years to find a period correct unit for our '86,
which are the most scarce of the RSD's due to the lack of customer orders.

And, when one of the locks broke, replacements "Unobtainium",
I had to implement leather straps even after contacting some of our factory friends!!

As an added note, the units equiped with the electrical locking actuators (Cab & Targa models),
require the harness P/N 993.555.123-02 or -03 along with the control unit located under the passenger seat.

Cheers,

Gerry
