Default ignition key light

The light on my ignition key is out. I replaced the battery and the light still does not work. Is the tiny bulb replaceable and if so does anyone know where to get one?

I think the part number is 928-537-630-02 Sunset or Pelican should have it for around $8 or less plus shipping.

There's a DIY that allows you to put a much brighter LED in place of that little light. Well worth it.

Mike, do you know where I can find the LED? If not, I'll get the replacement bulb from Pelican that Bob suggested.
Thanks - Michael

My key only had one battery in it when I opened it. I don't see how two batteries can fit. Can their be different types of keys? Also, where did you find the LED, Radio Shack?

what do you use the light for? Mine works (non-LED), but never thought of even using it for anything.

Michael, your '96 should have ignition light bulb. Take a look above the ignition. Although if your '96 is a very early car it might not (the '95s didn't have it). That's why people with '97 don't get why we need light

The 96's I have seen do not have a lighted ignition - does yours?
