Hey
Nice speaking with you Gordo in Alaska! Glad we discussed the bumper covers as you are looking for ones in undamaged condition. As my post says, there is repair work and these would be best suited for a track car where a perfect finish is not required.

Delete
I did that on my 996 to reduce weight. The cost 4 years ago was about $2400. I think I will keep it rather than add to the cost, but I agree that the SR Delete would look nice. Thanks for the post. More pics Friday I hope.

Race Car
Great work. That's the same thing I did with my Cab about 3 years ago. New bumpers, new body gaskets, complete paint job, and ended up with a brand new Cab. Couldn't be happier. Congrats!

How much did that run you, and where did you have yours done? My car is starting to look like a beater.

Wheels
I bought them for $200 and have my Hoosiers Wets on them. My other wheels, which you can see in the before pics, are getting powder coated and I am told will look as good or better than the factory painted silver they were. So don't worry....these are very temporary!

Adding Friday Pics
Final Prime and then wet sand. Paint booth next week! Man I can't wait! Note the RS Splitter bits with the special rubberized primer. This will also go on my front bumper cover

Eiro Look Rear and Wheels
Check out the nice work on the rear bumper cover for the Euro look. Also, had the wheels blasted and powder coated by J&J Powder Coating in Virginia Beach. They look painted...but they are not!
