I think we have enough answers here to start a consensus on price: about $35-$40K seems to cover most the replies, with $38K seeming to be the winner on a great asking price.

Good luck with your sale. If you sell.

Absolutely beautiful car! Great photos.

As far as price... go $45K, it only has 40K miles on an Andial 3.8 rebuild and seems to be very well cared for. There's always room to come down. You don't seem to be in a hurry to sell.

Sounds like he'll sell if he's pleasantly surprised by the offer

YMMV

Sounds like you love the car. If you can afford to keep it, then keep driving it for your "therapy". What a great way to unwind. What is the point in selling something you can not replace for thirty odd grand.

Carlos,

Its been a long time since I've seen your fabulous photos and your beautiful car. Here's some unsolicited advice from an old geezer: DO NOT SELL THAT CAR. Its perfect and just the way you want it. I promise you, you will be kicking yourself in the *** if you sell it. Good luck.

the pictures are awesome.. very well shown.

im not sure if C4s examples with 150k+ miles see anything over $35k as of late.....

If this thing was in the 20's im sure it would go fast...

funny enough, I've found that the C4S is a great grocery runner. The frunk can easily contain $100+ of groceries. It's also served as a great school vehicle for the kids. They love riding in it and I love driving it. Doesn't get any better than that.

BTW...car looks great for 150K miles. Seems very well sorted. Good luck with the sale, but it will be hard to replace if you do.

Default what he said

great car...great pics.... Looks like some nice attention and care over the years! Man this forum gets all hot and bothered by possible feeler posts... the seller has an interesting car, posted great pics, is nearing 100 post count, so semi active member etc.... and the car is quite cool. Even if he was testing the waters I am happy to see his thread and read about a neat car, 140k miles and all. Fully aware of the BS over the past 6 months with fs adds and feeler ads...just my opinion

IMO the car with the fresh andial engine work with the noted parts is huge plus over other cars with such miles assuming you have the paperwork etc... also other nice touches.

Take the advice below... I have sold a few cars I made perfect and regret selling them over the years as they are never worth to the buying audience as they are to the owner; knowing the true care, attention, time to get it dialed and effort that the car received over the years.... whether you keep, sell or feel the market best of luck....

frunk is exactly what my 11 year old daughter calls it. Great for groceries, or beer run's...and Sunday drives 1/2 mile to church even.

Now back to our regular "thinking of selling" discussion

again...Andial $$ on build would help greatly. Or am I the only one who doesn't know how much a Andial 3.8RS build costs?

^^^ +1 .... That's hilarious !

Another sophomoric display of “I’m thinking of selling” ….. An embellished FOR SALE ad if there ever was. – Hey to each his own, but it’s a bit of a turn off for most, me included. On a more positive note great photo shots of the coupe! Good eye.

“200k miles might seem like excessive mileage for a 16 year old car – however the miles were downhill all the way.” – That’s the kind of honest prose a Rennlist’r appreciates. Good luck with sale.
